Patch Timeline

Newest Major Update

Season 01 - Build V.2.1.0

V2 is one of the biggest updates Duel.io has had yet. The island has had a major glow-up, there is more danger around the map, and players now have way more ways to build a profile that actually feels like their own.

Build V.2.1.0
Profile Customization Give your profile its own look with new hair, hats, glasses, face items, titles, and animated profile frames.
Rotating Cosmetics Shop The shop now rotates different cosmetic items, so there is always more stuff to check for and save up toward.
Share Bonus Rewards Share Duel.io once to claim a special reward bundle with Cash, Gems, a UFO emote, and the Starvisitor UFO card.
Pirate Ship Ambushes Beach treasure is not always free anymore. Pirate ships can pull up, defend their loot, and fire cannonballs when players start fighting nearby.
Shark Attacks The ocean is a lot less safe now. Sharks patrol the outside waters, so swimming too far out can get you bitten.
New Drop System Start from the Duel Plane and pick a spot to land. With a large View of the map, Once the doors are open, You are free to jump!
Island Foliage Overhaul Trees, bushes, and scenery have all been upgraded and spread out more, making the island feel fuller and less empty while you explore.
More Island Details New bridges, water details, beach areas, props, and points of interest make every drop feel fresher than before.
Fresh Main Menu The menu has been cleaned up with a stronger profile look, better shop presentation, and a more dramatic drop-in sequence before matches.
New Rare Creature Cards A few very rare new creatures have joined the chase, including Starvisitor UFO, Asterion, Rift Crown Wyrm, Hollow Spectral Kirin, and Nova Mecha Kaiju Suit.

V2 is the update that makes Duel.io feel more like its own world. There is more danger, more personality, more going on around the island, and a lot more reason to keep building up your account.

Previous Major Update

Season 01 - Build V.1.9.0

This one was a chunky update. The goal here was to make matches deeper, make progression feel better, and give people more systems to mess with besides just dropping in and fighting. A lot of the stuff players see in the game & menu now came in here.

Build V.1.9.0
Ranked Solo + Duo Toggle ranked queues on, climb rating, and get proper ranked match results after each run.
Leaderboards New leaderboard support lets players compare kills, wins, and overall performance.
Friends + Survivor ID Tools Add friends, manage requests, and use a cleaner identity/profile flow around your account.
Party Lobby Improvements Better party invites, ready checks, lobby status, and smoother team setup before queueing in.
Survival Pass + Magic Pass A full two-track pass setup with free and premium reward lanes, unlocks, and progression rewards.
Dedicated Melee Weapon System Melee got its own proper slot, pickups, swapping, dropping, and in-match combat use.
Care Packages / Airdrops Supply drops now land during matches and add another reason to fight over the map instead of just camping out.
Armor + Health Pickups More loot variety in the field with pickups that help you recover and stay in the fight.
Scopes / Sight Lenses Different sight upgrades give extra utility and add another small layer to looting and combat decisions.
Underground Entrances More map routing and hidden loot paths thanks to underground entrances and interior expansion.
Reconnect + Cleaner Match Flow Better reconnect handling and online session flow make multiplayer feel less fragile.
Expanded Post-Match + Profile Progress Stronger match reports, profile tracking, revives/stat tracking, and overall progression flow.

Basically: V.1.9.0 is the patch where Duel.io stopped feeling like just a cool prototype and started feeling like a fuller actual game.
